In episode 29 of Growth Mindset University, our special guest is TED Speaker and Startup Founder Yolanda Perkins.
As she was about to graduate from college, she was sentenced to three years in prison for stealing credit cards to buy stuff to please her boyfriend at the time. The relationship was withering and this was Yolanda's last-ditch effort to win him over, and it landed her in prison, where she found time to learn from her experiences. While incarcerated, she went through several key mindset shifts that enabled her to steer clear of toxic relationships in the future and find meaning in her adversity.
Yolanda's energy is infectious and she is so insightful.
If you're ready to stop playing games and enjoy healthy relationships with significant others and friends alike, then this episode is for you.
